Has officially started in our household; we planted our seeds in the start trays yesterday.

I have a bunch of seeds to give away if anybody wants to try growing several different varieties of cucumbers, beans, or whatever.

I work this weekend but I still want to get with Animal for some seed swapping...I want to grow tobacco! And his melons were amazing.

I'm sure we'll want some.

Ok, I have planted seeds for eggplants, Big Jim peppers, zucchini, bell peppers, catnip, tarragon, cilantro, Sweet Peas, Columbine, Lupine, spearmint, Hatch chilis, Delice De Table melons, Black Pearl peppers, Ivory Egg tomatoes, Pink Cherry tomatoes, White Queen Tomatoes, Pasilla Bajio chilies, Chili Colorado chilies, Habenero chilies, and Bird's Eye chilies.

I have another 18 little peat things to fill. Not sure what with.

I think we're going shopping tonight, so we'll probably see what we can find for seedlings.

Grow a giant pumpkin! Or try watermelon or our favorite Armenian Cucumbers - they grow like weeds and get HUGE!

Planted pod peas, snap peas, and snow peas.

The melons are up. The zucchini are up, so is the tarragon, catnip, sweet peas, and lupines. And the pink cherry tomatoes.

Your melons, tomatoes and squash will do quite well. We've had problems with peas of all types - I think it's not cold or wet enough here. The beans do OK though.

Animal is growing peas by the bushel in Black Canyon City which is drier and warmer than here.

OK, sorry! Just a thought.

I'll have to tell Susan to give her thoughts when she gets home tonight.

Moved melons today. Still have to move pink cherry tomatoes, and White Queen tomatoes. All the peas I planted the other day have sprouted.

I have lots of seeds to give to anyone that wants them.
They will only store so long, I would prefer to pass them along to anyone who wants to plant them.
Being at the northern edge of the low desert I was able to keep my garden going through the winter.
My cornlings are about 4 inches tall.

Hell yes! I want some!! I'm hoping to order a trailer load of soil from the nursery to expand the garden soon. It depends on whether or not Jeff's car bankrupts us...it won't go out of park now, the fire under the dash shorted out some wires.

The Prius, or the Camry?

The Camry. He plugged his portable HAM radio into the cigarette lighter and the car caught on fire.

We got the estimate today, $1400 I think he told me. Insurance will cover it, but we might take a pretty big hit on rates -- we're waiting for the insurance agent to call back and let us know so we know if we're paying all of it or just the deductible.
