Beltane is planned again for this year , and will be held at the beautiful creekside setting off of Dugas Road (some of you are familiar with this location from previous gatherings - it's awesome!).
Admission has changed a little this year; we are only charging as a donation for use of the porta-potty because of a lack of participation. We understand, the economy is kinda tough this year.
Memberships for one year are still available for $30, or $40 for a family membership.
See below for more information, and please recheck it in the future as it will be updated. (Don't forget to refresh the page).
Look forward to seeing you all there!
Blessings!

Beltaine 2009 |
 |
This year, Beltaine 2009 will be at a beautiful creekside and very private location off of Dugas Road, about 3 miles back from I-17. Remember, all donations go to help with this planning, so you will be funding your own bigger and better festivals as time goes by. Of course, we need participation and volunteers to make this a reality, so if interested, please sign up on the forum and let us know, or email the Council at the "Contact Us" link above.
Dates: Saturday, May 2 and Sunday May 3, 2009. (Anyone is welcome to set up camp on Friday evening, if desired.)
Ritual: Approximately sunset on the 2nd.
Drum Circle-- Bring your drums or other instruments as we have several drummers, guitarists and other musicians who would love to jam.
Sunday:
More to come.
We have provided food for a small fee (as a fundraiser) in the past, but due to low participation and wasted leftover food, we have decided to do away with the public food this year. Please bring your own; however, we will have the group barbeque available for a small donation to help cover the propane costs if you wish to use it for cooking.
Directions: Take I-17 to exit 268. Go East approximately 3.4 miles until you get to Forest Service Road 9602R, turn right. The road is bumpy but passable even in a low riding car; go approximately 1/2 mile to the parking area. Walk down to the creek bottom. We'll be under the trees. We will have signs out on Dugas Road as well to help guide people in. Feel free to download the map, below.
A porta-pottie will be available for use for a small donation.
Come get out of the summer heat, and celebrate Samhain in the North Country! See you there!!!
