News from the Clan

Beltane is planned again for this year , and will be held at the beautiful creekside setting off of Dugas Road (some of you are familiar with this location from previous gatherings - it's awesome!).

Admission has changed a little this year; for those who prepay by April 12, it is $8.50 per person, $17 for the weekend. Families are $17 per day, or $34 per weekend. We do have a Paypal link, please add $1 to your paypal payment for their costs.

Admission at the gate will be $10 per person and $20 for the weekend; $20 per family or $40 for the weekend.

We apologize for the increase in costs, but we have never raised our rates in the five years we've been a group! These costs help us to fund our Yule Drive, and to help us host other events.

If you purchase a year membership to the group, you are entitled to the member discount for admission at that time. Membership for one year is $30, or $40 for a family membership.

See below for more information, and please recheck it in the future as it will be updated. (Don't forget to refresh the page).

Look forward to seeing you all there!

Blessings!

Beltaine 2008

This year, Beltaine 2008 will be at a beautiful creekside and very private location off of Dugas Road, about 3 miles back from I-17. Remember, all donations go to help with this planning, so you will be funding your own bigger and better festivals as time goes by. Of course, we need participation and volunteers to make this a reality, so if interested, please sign up on the forum and let us know, or email the Council at the "Contact Us" link above.

Dates: Saturday, April 25 and Sunday April 26, 2008. (Anyone is welcome to set up camp on Friday evening, if desired.)

Ritual: Approximately sunset on the 26th.

Workshop Schedule:

Workshops will be finalized and posted after our final Clan meeting on April 13.

Drum Circle-- Bring your drums or other instruments as we have several drummers, guitarists and other musicians who would love to jam.

Sunday:

More to come.

Food will be available for lunch and dinner. Hot dogs and hamburgers (veggie stuff too), chips, sodas and bottled water will be for sale as well. Prices: $3.50 per meal, with your choice of meal or you can buy a 3 meal ticket for $10; water or soda $1.00 each.

Directions: Take I-17 to exit 268. Go East approximately 3.4 miles until you get to Forest Service Road 9602R, turn right. The road is bumpy but passable even in a low riding car; go approximately 1/2 mile to the parking area. Walk down to the creek bottom. We'll be under the trees. We will have signs out on Dugas Road as well to help guide people in. Feel free to download the map, below.

There will be porta-potties available on site available for paid guests.
